Humans and Our Ecosystem
Humans are damaging the things that are important: the Earth, the water and the air. We are damaging the water because when throw trash in the water, animals (like turtles) think our trash is food and they eat it. When we throw our trash on the Earth, animals get tangled in plastic bags and they die because they eat the plastic. We are polluting the air when the factories emit smoke and the animals don’t have enough fresh air and (of course) they die.
The consequences of pollution in the water can be that all the fish die and the animals that eat fish die because they have no food. When we use factories we contaminate the air and we don’t have enough fresh air. The consequence is that the animals, the plants and humans can die. If we cut down the trees, the animals that live in trees won’t have a home.
A solution to reduce pollution in the water is having a group of volunteers clean the beach and pick up the trash. We can also teach people about not contaminating our home. A solution to reduce the pollution in the air is to use solar energy to run the factories so we don’t use as much coal. To save the Earth we need to plant more plants so that the animals that eat plants have enough food and the animals that eat animals that eat plants also have enough food.
